Who we are?
About Me
I’ve spent my entire life in Coquitlam and the Tri-Cities, a community that shaped me into the educator I am today. With over 30 years of experience as a coach and educator, my passion is helping others develop confidence, whether that’s on the field or behind the wheel. I love seeing those “A-ha” moments when everything clicks, and growth happens. My journey into driver education was a natural fit, given my background as a first aid instructor and volunteer firefighter. After witnessing the real-life consequences of dangerous driving, I’m committed to equipping new drivers with the skills and awareness needed to safely navigate today’s roads. I’m also a proud father. My daughter, Mackenzie, is my inspiration for DMACK—she’s the driving force behind the name and the heart of this business. When I’m not instructing, I’m cherishing the joys of watching her grow.

My Credentials:
- Certified ICBC driving instructor
- 12 year volunteer fireman with Sasamat Volunteer Fire Department
- 15 years as a Red Cross First Aid Instructor, teaching and evaluating up to FR3 (Firefighter Level)
- 20+ years of experience supporting individuals with special needs
- Certification in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) skills for managing anxiety
- NCCP Level One certified coach
- Conversational in American Sign Language
